At the end of 2009, the two eight-storied office towers, the "Columbia Twins", of the shipping company Columbia Shipmanagement (Deutschland) GmbH were completed. The new building harmonizes in height with the old warehouses in the vicinity and closes the last gap in the row of buildings along the Altona harbour front. The high quality of the building and its copper-coloured façade of stainless steel do justice to the exclusive location. The new offices offer the company's staff a breathtaking view of the harbour and the ships, the objects of their daily work. The office swivel chairs and cantilever chairs supplied by Girsberger provide the necessary sitting comfort.
